For sale is a lovely Universe Ceramics 8 3/4" x 6" rectangle tray plate in a rust brown glaze. Marked "Universe Ceramics, Los Angeles, CA"
Universe Ceramics has been closed since the early 2000's.  The glaze and simplistic style of the piece is most likely made of one of Edith Heath Ceramics molds, which a former employee copied.
